Maintenance is cheaper than a redesign
Businesses rebuild websites when the old one feels embarrassing. Usually the bones were fine. Nobody watered them.
A redesign quotes at thousands. A care plan is a few hundred a month and covers the work that stops the embarrassment: updates, broken forms, stale hours, new service pages, and a host that still has a valid certificate.
What “care” should mean
- Someone named, not a mailbox.
- Updates on a schedule, not after a hack.
- A small bank of edit hours so you are not quoting every headline change.
- A monthly note of what happened. Silence is not the same as health.
